Finally got back home to Georgia today to see this beauty waiting for me that I purchased right before I left for New York. Got it directly from the Braves for only $50. It's a Bob Wickman game worn 2007 home jersey,,SIZE 58!! The largest jersey I've seen before this was a Manny Ramirez size 56. So is this Wickman jersey the largest size ever in MLB?

I don't think Fielder ever wore larger than a sz 52....Don't forget he was in the era of a tighter fit than today's players who look like they are wearing pajamas ( Manny, etc)

The heaviest player in MLB history is Walter Young. He played for the Baltimore Orioles in 2005 and I recently saw him this year playing with the Sussex Skyhawks (Northern New Jersey) of the Can-Am League. I think he was listed as 6' 5" 322 lbs. when he made his major league debut. He played in 14 games that season, but I have no idea what his jersey size was. I did buy this season a Louisville Slugger cracked bat at the Orioles Team Store of Walter Young and it was 36 inches long. It probably was laying around from his time with the team in 2005.

This guy makes Ryan Howard look tiny.

I purchased a '96 Yankees pinstripe Wickman from Steiner a couple of yrs ago and it's a 48. Shows how much weight he put on between then and now. He is a fatty. BTW , do Braves have any other $50 jerseys ?

I remember seeing a 1975 Cleveland Indians Boog Powell jersey for auction and it was taken apart, cloth added on the sides and sewn back together. It was really interesting. No clue on size though.
