I cant see someone selling a real one at this kind of price. Also i remember a post by Eric or someone that showed a 1998 Derek Jeter game issused road jersey and it looks just like this one but without the 1998 world series patch. What do you guys think.

The jersey has to be issued. The smaller tags aren't curled, which is the most obvious sign of game use. Plus another sign of use is the "1998" tag to wrinkle and fade, which it isn't.

Found the thread i was talking about. Look at both tags and they both have that little white spot. Also all the jerseys he has for sale has lots of fraying around the numbers.

The tail tagging looks brand new, however, the 2 appears to have been sewn by a blind person . Likewise, even after a full seasons use, I've never seen crisp tail tagging and numbers literally falling apart in this fashion.:confused:

I think some additional research is merited.

I would say it was probably bought from one of those Steiner blow out Auctions as a blank jersey, and turned into a Jeter, with pretty lousy customization. That's my opinion.
