    Tim Hudsons on ebay

I am very interested in either of these jerseys and they say they have game use but the Braves had to put all the 2006 jersey in just as issued. I know Set 1 and Set doesnt guarentee it was probably used but think it is safe to assume they were?

For what it's worth, I picked up a 2006 home jersey of Hudson that is tagged set 5 which shows signs of game use. Like the jerseys on ebay, my jersey is also a size 44.

I have bought a few items from that particular ebay Seller over the years and have always been pleased with the purchases.

jerseys2003 is VERY repuitable so you should've have to worry about any of his "game used" jerseys being issued; especially since he does handle quite a few issued jerseys and that's how he sells them.

I agree with the above posts. I purchased a Sheffield uniform from him and it was exactly as described. I have him on my EBay list of favorite sellers and would not hesitate to buy from him in the future.

He is also correct about the MLB data base listing those jerseys as issued, when many of them were used. I purchased a Chipper Jones jersey from mlb.com and although it was sold as used, the data base listed it as issued.

All of the 2006's were listed as Game Issued. I've been coming across many game-used Braves jerseys that I know for a fact were game-used because I was at the games and even have some photos of the players at the specific games, but MLB has the jerseys listed as Game Issued.

From the discussions I've had with the Braves, I was told that unless the MLB authenticator actually sees the player take the jersey off, it will be listed as Game Issued. This means that even if the jersey has been worn in many games before the night of authentication, if the MLB authenticator does not see the jersey come off the player then it is listed as Game Issued. This is happening to more and more jerseys. I've found that many are relief pitchers (that take longer to get to the locker room than other players) and pitchers & players that didn't participate in that specific night's game. Many times those players hit the locker room right after the game, shed their jerseys, and are getting dressed or gone by the time the authenticator gets around to their jersey. If the jersey was taken off, left in their locker and they're in the showers or whatever, if it wasn't seen being removed it is Game Issued to MLB.

That's one reason why quite a few of the Game Issued jerseys I've seen lately show definite wear.
