I had a person contact me about a jersey of a favorite player of mine that has a LOA with it from Mitchell and Ness Cooperstown Collection.......do they sell game used/worn jerseys or are they just promotional jerseys/authentics etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated....the player is Mark "The Bird" Fidrych.

This was a promotional jersey raffled at Comerica Park. I think they gave out either 100 or 200 and your seat ticket was the raffle ticket. I believe this was '05, but I'm not positive. I was able to get one directly from Mitchell and Ness, as they had some overstock left in their warehouse. It's a nice jersey & I definately get comments when I wear it to games. I paid around $100 for it - I believe they set the retail value at around $175.

Mitchell and Ness do not sell game worn jerseys; they sell (and are the only company licensed by MLB to sell) retail authentic versions of the past jerseys of baseball. They do however make the uniforms for some of the turn back the clock games. Based on your info, I would tend to think you have a retail jersey (several hundred were made?).
The TBTC jerseys generally have different tagging than the retail authentics (they may state "TBC" and the date of the game it was made for).
