I recently met a retired sales rep that has his original Rawlings salesmen sample Full uniforms from 1960. I've been out of collectible industry for years so I have no idea of their value. Can anyone give me a price range of what these might be worth? He has a least one of all 15 teams. Again, pants and jersey with the original saleman sample price tag pinned to the jerseys.

Hi stradermays- What 15 teams? Major League? If just generic uniforms I wouldn't place much value on them...about $50 a piece. If MLB teams that would be a different story.....

All major league teams. Most are button ups but the Giants for instance is a zip up.

Actually, those sound fairly cool to me. They'd be great for someone building a style collection who wasn't so much interested in the "who wore it" angle .. like myself. If you get a crack at any of them, or want to buy them all and need a partner, let me know.

I need help on a value. These seem to be the real deal. After looking at pictures from that era, they appear to be the same jersey. Was Rawlings the jersey of choice back then? They are flannel with sewn on letters and numbers, and most, but not all, have matching pants.

Just my opinion, I'd say more than $50 per ... more like $200, probably. That's likely a high-end estimate, or about what I'd pay. That is, if they're same quality as the real shirts.

Make sure they are adult size also. Many town, school, and legion teams, used names like the Giants etc. and the jerseys can look similar, but the quality is lower. If they are pristine and identical to the pro gamers, they are very desireable.

mjkm90, these are pro style uniforms. Very heavy Flannel and I believe they were all 42's.

I'm trying to buy everything he has, but I'm still trying to get expert opinions on a value to offer. Again this guy is a retired Rawlings rep and is looking for an educated offer. Any help is appreciated.

You've got one guy saying $50, another saying $200. Don't know if my opinion passes your test for being "educated," but that's what I'd pay ($200) per shirt. IMO, the $50 is more of a dealer price, and the $200 is more of a collector price. That's about as granular -- or "expert" -- as it gets. Good luck with the guy. Sounds like he's got some cool things.

I said $50 assuming they were generic uniforms. If MLB teams I said that would be a different story.....

...Since they are pro quality MLB teams I would agree with the $200 range.
