Detroit Pistons 1998/99 & 1999/00 Jersey questions

I have recently been looking at some the Detroit Pistons gamers from the 98-00 seasons. I've contacted several people that should or could be in the know. It seems I can't get the same answer from any two people. So I am making an appeal to everyone here. Can anyone help me shed some light on this subject. Should all three variations of the Pistons Jerseys (Home, Road, and Red Alternate) have year flag tags on the inside? It appears that Nike made the jerseys during that time frame. Here are some examples that I've found on ebay. These all have year flag tags. But I did have a very big "person in the know" from the Pistons tell me that they can not confirm that there was a year tag in the jerseys? I think I already know the answer to this, but I was going to see if you guys could help me out. Thank you!!!

Thanks for getting back to me. I thought the same thing. I'm only able to find one other one that doesn't mention a flag tag.

I had a couple of Nike Jersey and the year tags are inside. I have seen a Nike jersey with the year tag outside. Hope this helps
