Hockey collectors - need your input

I have been offered a hockey stick purported to be game used and I know nothing about them.

Its a white Louisville TPX? with tape on the blade and the word Shott printed on the handle. Its claimed that the player's name was Shott.

Any help that you can provide would be great.

The only player I found was a Lucas Shott, who played for the Mississauga Chargers in 2004-2005, 4G 8A 69PIM in 24 games. It appears it was his only year in professional hockey.

Would that team have played in the minors in the same league as the Richmond Renegades?

No, different leagues. It's possible some other player used his sticks that were left behind or given to him by Shott?
