I'm going to be meeting Ryan Klesko soon and will be able to get an auto. I'm undecided as to what I should get signed...here's some ideas...
1999 World Series program
A Cooperstown Braves bat that has a bunch of stars/HOF Braves sigs on it and 1 or 2 average Braves players - should I stop adding no namers and just leave the stars?
An MLB ball
a baseball card
suggestions?

A 2001 all star ball - at least he had an RBI in the game.

Believe it or not, 2001 All Star Game balls are relatively hard to find. I heard it had something to do with the green color stitching. I was looking for a couple to have Cal sign and it took me awhile.
Anyways, back to Klesko, I would just have him sign the sweet spot of a OMLB (easy to display, etc.).

I like the idea of a 2001 ASG ball.
My problem is, I'd rather do a team signed ball than single signed but I dont think those guys will all be coming my way anytime soon. :)

If you do decide the ASG ball here is one up for auction -

Thank you. I saw that one but I'm afraid that it wont make it here in time. I found one for sale immediately but the guy wants $45 delivered for a freakin' $10 baseball.
That WS program is looking pretty good!

Here's another 2001 AS Game ball and press pin on eBay:

Disregard the eBay listing I just sent. It's a 1991 AS ball and press pin in the listing. Not a 2001. My bad!

I'd go with the World Series Program

Thanks David. I dont want to buy a bat of someone I dont really collect just to have it signed. I'm just going to the signing because its a free auto and those are endangered species these days. There will also be a few NASCAR driver there too but since I dont consider that to be a sport, I'll probably pass on them. Spend a few years driving on the Jersey Turnpike and then talk to me about this "drive fast, turn left" crap.... :)

Racing is a pretty boring spectacle. Have you ever driven in Miami? I was there in 1997 and it was crazy. First time I was passed by a car, driving on the sidewalk.
I have never been to Jersey. I did watch the GodFather though....
