No uniform number on G/U Bat?

I always insist on seeing a uniform number on the bat knob or top of the bat barrell before I consider buying a game use bat. But after threads on this, many members have mentioned players who do not have their uniform number on their game used bat.
Can members supply the names of players who they know, did not have their uniform number on a bat they knew for certain WAS game used. Thanks

First in my mind is Jorge Posada. He numbered some early bats but now, they are unnumbered.

Mattingly numbered his bats with retired Yankee numbers, 7, 5, etc

Justin Morneau...you'll only see the weight written on the knob.

I have a Dwayne Murphy Worth bat, from the '80s, that came from Murphy's own collection, which has no number on either end.

I have three Rick Schu bats which certainly look game used, and none of them has any numbers.

I have a Richie Sexson bat that he signed and inscribed "30th Home Run Bat"...and it likewise has no number.

I disagree on Reggie. I have a bat of his from the 80's with a number. When I asked him to sign with "game used", he turned it over, looked at the writing of the number, and signed it.
