This showed up on eBay over the weekend....
My initial thought was wow!!!
What do fellow Steelers collectors think about this?
The seller answered some questions in the listing, but was evasive as to where it exactly originated from.
What is odd to me is the tagging....I personally have never seen Sand Knit tagging on a Steelers game jersey that was only sewn on the sides?
Here is a photo of a Steelers jersey and other football jerseys from the same era with similar tagging, however, these jerseys show tags that are completley sewn all the way around?
I was told by another collector that the Steelers equipment manager at that time, has stated that Lambert has his Super Bowl X jersey...can anyone confirm or deny this?
I am NOT stating this jersey is bad, just making some observations...whoever has accquired this jersey, if you can DEFINITIVELY PHOTO MATCH it to Super Bowl X, you have accquired a real gem!!!!
