"062" interior tag - did they have these in 2004?!?

Would a Russell jersey (Red Sox) from 2004 have this tagging inside or was it just for later Majestic jerseys?!?

wash codes aren't a time thing, they're a manufacturer thing. they only apply to majestic jerseys. majestic has been using wash codes for a long time. they supplied batting jerseys in the early 90s and those jerseys had wash codes. the codes themselves have changed over the years but majestic has been using them for many, many years.
