Re: Broncos J Lynch jersey @ eBay

A forum member e-mailed me directly looking for clarification re: the photo match of the "Future HOFer John Lynch Game Used/Worn Broncos Jersey" at eBay (see http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300266802656). In part, our reponse was as follows...
Sorry that I couldn't do better, but this is a tough angle to show via photo (which is why I didn't post one on the eBay listing). From the Getty photo, note the following reference "marks":
    1. Above (to the right of) the vertical stem of the right sleeve's #4
    2. Below (to the left of) the horizontal stem of the sleeve's #4
    3. In front of (below) the diagonal stem of the sleeve's #7
These three (in addition to others present which are not clearly visible on the low res Getty photo) clearly match the impact markings on the jersey itself. There are similar impact markings on the left sleeve, one of which showing faintly on the Getty photo. Also not mentioned is a team repair, approx 1" in length, perpendicular to the seam between the left shoulder and sleeve.

Again, while the photo comparison is not as concise, a first-hand physical inspection definitely sealed the deal in terms of the jersey's authenticity. The average selling price of the six Lynch gamers sold via NFL Auctions since 2004 is $1,555.17; well above our $600 reserve (see http://endzonesportscharities.org/uniprice.xls). I would stack this jersey up beside any of them.
If I can answer any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
The two photos have also been appended to the listing; if anyone needs higher res images, please contact me and I will be happy to provide.
