The omni-present water tower seen from inside Yankee Stadium that sits atop the old Earl Theater auditorium(centerfield)is about to come down. Still standing,barely,amid scafolding,a dumpster awaits it below on River Avenue in front of Stan's baseball land. I know it's stupid,and I'm too old for this abstract nonsense but this inatimate object was present and seen at every baseball event from Gehrig's farewell to the present. With Steiner selling everything including Yankee Stadium restroom signs I guess I'll soon be seeing his fat @$# reaching into the dumpster.
