Ryan Braun SAM Bats Gold and Silver Label Question

I am looking at buying a Ryan Braun bat from an associate and I noticed both bats are SAM bats, but one has a silver label and one a gold label. Could someone please explain the difference to me?

I'm guessing maybe one is from spring training and the other from regular season. Do you have pics of them with the dates,etc?? Just a crazy idea......

I've got a Braun Sam bat with Gold labels.. I believe it's a model KB1.. Im not sure what the differences are... But I've seen more Gold Labels

I have 2 Ryan Braun Sam bats and both have the gold lable. But I have seen him use the silver label bats during the last 2 years.

Just a quick look at Getty has plenty of examples of him using both.. So it may just be a player preference...

Just buy both!!

Mike and all, thanks for the input. Here are photos of two of the bats. Notice how the silver bat has a silver "8" while the gold bat has a gold "8". Maybe someone has more information about these or maybe there is no diffrence.
