Most of the time pro stock bats are ordered by the team for any player to use. The chance of Mickey using this bat is not good, he may have but I doubt it. He would use the bats he personally ordered. Hope this helps you out.
            Thanks,
            Jamie

                Tony,
I'm not sure if this is true for all, but every actual Mantle game used bat I've seen has had the 7 written on the knob handle. Mine has the 7, as well as about 5 others that I've seen sold in the last two years.

I have Mickey Mantle game used bat and it doesn't have his number on the knob. So his number isn't on all his true game used bats. I have seen many of his bats without his uniform numbr and I've seen many with his number on them.
                  Thanks,
                  Jamie

This thread should give you useful info about team index bats.
