Does the barrel appeared to be taped and used in BP?

No, it is not taped and I would say NOT a batting practice bat. If you want pics, let me know.

          TFig,
Got the bat in today. Does appear to have been taped at one time, but there are ball marks all over the barrel. Is it possible to have been a game used (as Steiner states on their LOA) bat, then used in batting practice? If you are still interested, let me know and I'll send the pics over. There is a chance it was used in a game and then turned into a BP bat. Or, a BP bat and then to make it last longer tape was added and used longer in BP. BP bats are still classified as "game used" by Steiner.

I already saw the pics as I was following that eBay auction and am going to pass for now.

            Good luck with your sale.

Just curious if this is the same bat you have for sale?
