Tom Lampkin bat

I bought a Lampkin gamer off ebay a few weeks ago from his Mariners days and it has a 7 on the knob (Lamp was 17). The guy I got it from says he got it at the Braves Spring training and that's all he could tell me.

Any ideas on who 7 is??

From 1999 through 2001 coach John McLaren wore uniform number 7 for the Mariners. You may want to check very closely to see if there is a very faded 1 on the bat as well.

Definitly no 1 on the knob. The 7 is written in bright blue sharpie (no fading). I wouldn't think Mac used the bat, do you think someone else could have had #7 at the M's spring training?

Cool looking book. I'll have to take a look at getting that.
