John Olerud Bat Blackened Knob

I got a John Olerud game used bat from Center Field Sports a couple months ago and it has a blackened knob. Do you think there's any way it could be authentic or did I get ripped off.

you where not ripped off, bat came right out of the mariners club house and was used by olerud

I am sorry but I have seen the bat in question and owned several John O. bats. The fact there is a blacked out knob says someone is hiding who used that bat or another uniform number.

John may have used it, but someone most likely did too or only.

But you can not say for sure he did. Aint no way.
