Paint on a Gameball

Wondering if anyone knows anything about the paint traditionally used on game balls. I recently acquired a game ball from a game and my wife wants to paint the score of the game and the teams and such on there. Any recomendations for brand or type of paint? Thanks

I wouldn't recommend doing that to it!!! How about getting a newspaper Box Score or article together with the ticket stub and make a nice display plaque instead?

I understand your concern and when I read my post again thinking like you, you probably think I am crazy, as it would dramatically effect the value of the ball. Difference is, my collection is small time Bison and this ball was used in a basketball game to set the school record for points scored in a game. Valuable to me as a display piece and fans will love to see it, but Nationally the value of the ball is street value (about $50.00).
