Grey Flannel 2001 Arod 911 Flag Jersey 2000 Year Tag

I'm pretty sure Arod played for the Mariners in 2000. Just curious why this jersey is tagged 2000. Ive never seen an Alex Rodriguez Rangers jersey with a 2000 year tag. Any thoughts on this jersey can it possibly be legit?

Possibly a case could be made that the Rangers issued this "Xtra" 2000 jersey to A-roid In 2001, howver, my concern is that Meigray had an agreement with the Rangers and also control of the Rangers jerseys. Meigray tagged each shirt with their own special tags. No mention or indication this shirt contains such a Meigray tag or comes with their paperwork.
