    Babe Ruth Forgery

If considering a bid on this item, save your money, as it is a forgery.

This is based on fact, not an opinion.

The dollar bill was not issued until 1949 at the earliest.

If you will look up Georgia Neese Clark, the Treasurer of the US, you will see his term of office was from Jun. 21, 1949 - Jan. 20, 1953.

Babe Ruth died on August 16, 1948.

    Sammy
Thanks for pointing out this Ruth forgery. No matter what, it's at least worth a dollar.
As for your avatar, like you, I suffered with body odor. When I got stressed out or upset, it smelled worse. I stopped eating onions and garlic, and it helped tremendously. But what helped the most was Irish Spring. Lather, rinse...repeat. Fresh and clean as a whistle! Cologne is not necessary. Just warm water and soap. If you use cologne without washing, you'll just smell like hot garbage mixed with Brut.
    hope this helps.

Sammy, forwarded you comments to the seller. Here's the resonse:

Thank you for the input. I didn't get this until the late 1950's and am not a coin currency dealer. I will end the auction until I can independently verify your info. Thanks again, I do appreciate your taking the time to give me a heads up.

Received resonse at 7:09pm last night. Auction still active.
      Regards, Tony

The seller has ended his auction.

Perhaps he will just spend the dollar, after marking through the forgery.

Georgia Neese Clark was actually the first woman to be named US Treasurer.... She lived to be 95 years old.....

When Dwight D. Eisenhower became President in 1953 he selected another woman to succeed her, Ivy Baker Priest.
          Thank you,

Good work. I always said that "Babe Ruth" signed more when he was dead than alive.

Im not so sure. There are a lot of his forgeries out there. But Ruth himself signed A LOT! His wife also signed her share as well. His name.
