Amazing. The new Grey Flannel Auction has a 1978 Set 1 Willie Randolph home Yankees jersey. See below.





Note the difference in the font with the recent 1978 Set 1 Home Willie Randolph (not listed as game used, but there seems to be something odd here) which was sold recently on ebay at

I emailed the seller of the ebay item to find out where his items came from and he did not respond. Just wanted to point out the differences.

I see the difference in fonts but WOW extremely close which makes you wonder which is the fake or possibly are both real and maybe it was tagging err on the manufacturer or font err?

The Randolph on ebay was bad. The stitching in the collar did not look consistent with other examples from that period and the Registered symbol on the Wilson tag is in the post 1979 position. The Randolph that Grey Flannel has I believe is good and I think it is the same jersey that was in Broadway Rick's auction a couple of months ago. Jim

I would like to know if any of these eBay baseball jerseys (Munson, Ripken, Goosage, Seaver, Carlton) have been rejected by any auction houses or authenticators? I'm sure at least half of these jerseys were bought on eBay with the intent to re-sale. They will re-appear.
