i need some help identifying a yankees batting helmet. it has a steiner hologram, but no player or dates given. the Rawlings helmet has #12 on the front and back, and is a size 7 for right a handed batter. i have checked roster info, and came up with the following:
-1997 - wade boggs LH batter
- no player wore #12
- clemens & jim leyritz - leyritz is 6 feet 195 lbs, but seems too big for a size 7
- denny neagle LH batter
- clay bellinger - 6 feet 3 inches, and 215 lbs: i was told he didnt wear size 7 from a good source
- 2003 alfosno soriano wears size 7
- kenny lofton - LH batter
- tony womack - LH batter
- 2007 - andy phillips - 6 feet 205 lbs: i was told he didn't wear size 7 from a good source
pudge rodriguez - 5 feet 9 inches 205 lbs seems too big for a size 7
ok, so with all that, does anyone have any info to help me figure this out. from everything i have researched i was thinking it was a soriano helmet from 2002 or 2003. is the style consistent with 02 or 03 yankees helmets. thanks in advance for all the help.
