Rudy, you probably already noticed the back numbering looks way off and doesn't come close to lining up. Two major red flags for me:

On the pics from the game, the top of the "5" is above the "G" in Garciaparra- on the ebay jersey the "5" is around the start of the "R"

Also the "5" and "Garciaparra" are way to high up on the jersey on ebay as they crowd the "B". On the game jersey, there looks to be at least 2-3 inches of space there.

I rarely chime in on photomatch issues but this seems to be a cut and dry issue. There is no way the jersey in question matches this jersey. Considering the fact it is a one game deal, this jersey is at best a Game Issued. $500 for a game issued Garciaparra is not horrible, but if you are bidding it is NOT game worn.

They have lowered the price to $99.99 and the title doesn't say "Game Used" anymore. I guess this thread alerted them. I do not believe they changed the description.

I believe you could buy these at the gift shops All-Star Weekend back then.
