    Does anyone know what models he used and what length?

    Here is a link to previous threads on Rice bats (see post # 3.)

    Rice used numerous models during his career. Let me know if you are looking for his personal records within a specific labeling period and I will post the records for that time frame. Hopefully these links will help as well.

      Hi Mike,

      Thanks for the info. I am hoping he ordered model S2 during the 1980-83 period. Can you confirm this?

      Regards,

        Hi Bryan--

        Although not one of Rice's most frequently ordered models, the following orders of S2 bats during the 1980-83 label period are documented in his H & B records;

        2/23/82 S2 cork grip 36 in 33 oz 6 bats
        3/8/82 S2 Flame Treated 36 in 34 oz 6 bats
        5/28/82 S2 Flame treated 36 in 33 oz 12 bats
