I'd appreciate some feedback on the current EBay Oswalt rookie jersey from any of the Astros folk out there.

Thanks, as always,

Lee,

I finally got a reply from the seller of this jersey. I was also able to talk with some people I know at the Astros. The seller told me the jersey is void of the small MLB logo on the back collar. The black jerseys were very unpopular after the first two seasons, so the team went to the very popular brick red jerseys. I have been told that the team got rid of the extras through the online store, but not through the retail store. For whatever reason, it is very common for the "6200" tagged jerseys to not have the MLB logo on the back, even to this day. I suspect this was a left over and sold through some retail means. The seller even comments on picking it up for $75 at a show. I very likely know who this was, as there is a dealer that sells a ton of replica authentic jerseys for signings. The same seller recently sold a Berkman autographed retail authentic (6200) that is likely from the same dealer i know. I have not been able to get a hold of the dealer I know to see if they sold the black Oswalt. I can say with 100% certainty that he never wore it, but all of my 2001 Astros jerseys have the MLB logo sewn underneath the flag. The seller did comment that it might have been removed befpre putting the flag on, but thgat would be obvious from behind the flag patch. Just my thoughts!

Thanks,

Chris Boyd
