Billy Ripken comes clean on the $%^& face bat!

Just read an article that said that Billy Ripken admitted that he wrote the profane comment on his own bat. He said that it was a BP bat that he wanted to mark in a special way. He didnt think about what was written on the bat when the picture was taken.

He also blamed Fleer for "enhancing" the writing to sell more cards......

Billy really came clean on this story over two years ago while part of his Tuesday's appearance on XM's "Baseball This Morning" show with Mark Patrick, but obviously got little/no play beyond that. Twenty Yerars ago?...where does the time go?
