Alot!!

You have a ton of players, starters and non roster invitees. So there will be a few more then just this list.

You can also add
Austin Jackson - Most Likely
CC Sabathia
A.J. Burnett
Delin Batences - Most Likely
Mark Melancon - Most Likely
Michael Dunn - Most Likely
Pat Venditte - Most Likely

Here is the most updated list of the roster that will most likely be there.

Each player is normally issued 2 Home Jerseys and 2 away Jerseys.

Thanks Suave! I was wondering how many were issued to each individual player, so 2 home and 2 away was the answer I was looking for!

But remember that number isn't written in stone.

That is just the normal average.

They may cut corners and for some players who they think are not going to make it just order one each for them, or maybes omeone like AROD may request 3 home and 3 away.

I do not believe there is a true rhyme or reason to it, but the norm to be ordered is usually 2.

Is "2" the norm for other teams as well? This seems about right to me and sometimes I may notice 2 game worn jerseys -- same style -- for common players at a team's fan fest or Christmas sale.

BTW, thanks for the info.

Steiner had three spring training jerseys of the Yankee player that I collect: one home pinstripe (worn on the first game of the season), one navy blue home and one navy blue road BP style. I snagged all three, but who knows if there were more sets that were used/issued but not made available. The jerseys were obtained shortly after the 2007 spring training season ended, and the player did not make the team until he was a September call up (followed by a spot on the playoff roster).

Kind Regards,

Ron.

Thanks for the info! There is a Jeter autographed and game used on ebay now that I'm thinking about from 2008. Just wanted to make sure they did not wear a ton of these. I think if there were only 2 or 3 made, it will probably be a good investment.

So, how many Home/Away jersys would it be for the regular season?

suave1477
05-03-2009, 09:06 PM
Normally it would be 2 Home and 2 Away, but recently in the Grand Scheme of making money I am sure there is more made.

Again it all depends on the players and who requests what.

In today's grand scheme of things I am sure a player can order as many as he would like.

For example -

Alex Rodriguez may feel he wants to wear a New Jersey every day next week I am sure all he has to do is make call and there shipped to him the next day.

Angel Berroa who has just come up while the team was playing away was forced to use a Retail Jersey since there was none made up for him previously.
So maybe they might allow him to order 1 of each since they do not expect him to be there that long.

Again these are just examples.
