What do you mean? Anyway, the fencing seen in the seat rows, second photo of the upper deck(what kept you from falling out of the last row in the upper deck)is whats pilled up on Roosevelt avenue near the street if anyone's interested. Most is mangled from removal.
Man what a waste! Every time I see a photo of stuff that didn't get saved from the Stadium it burns me up. I don't feel sorry that Wilpon got caught in the Madoff Ponzi scheme and probably lost millions! Serves him right for treating Shea like old broken down condemned tenement.
Pretty sad photographs. It reminds me of Old Connie Mack Stadium before a wrecking ball came and put the stadium out of its misery. I spent a lot of time there as a kid.
Allright,I'm going to sleep. But I can't believe all the stuff thrown away. Nobody heard from the flagpole. You know why? Because they threw it out. The batter's black backdrop? Thrown out. I have to stop before I hurt somebody. I don't care how nice CitiField is, seeing this happen to Shea is a freak'n nightmare.I don't give a good %*#@ about luxury boxes. It's like the calm during a wake. At the funeral, the final day, we'll all be uncontrolable. Our elders are nodding. They went through this with Ebbets and the Pologrounds. To my Yankee friends, you have no idea what you're in store for emotionally, when 161 st comes down.
