Altered Mike Schimdt Bat

I was looking at this Schimdt bat on ebay and realized it was up for auction once before. To me the handle looks to have more wear in this auction, also the knob was blacked out in the origanl auction. Take a look at the to auctions, let me know what you guys think.

It is definitely the same bat


The use looks the same. It looks just a bit different in the lighting probably caused by the 2 different cameras. if you look real close you can seen just about the exact usage on both and pine tar.

What is it a bit odd is the black marker on the knob was scrubbed off.

The original seller was totally honest about the knob and its implications - which is exactly why it sold so low.

The second seller made zero mention of the knob or the fact that previous markings had been removed since he owned it.

To me, that is a serious ethical violation. The only reason he made that kind of profit was blatant dishonesty - and possilbly forgery. It is this exact type of thing that ruins this hobby...and the sad thing is, it happens every day.

Yep, same bat. And this is one reason why I wont do business with this person.

The buyer of the bat is trying to get a refund! Hope it works out for him. It's a shame what people will do to the hobby to make a profit.
