Opinions on Moses Malone jersey?

Hey gang

For you 76ers experts out there, I was just wondering what people thought about the Moses Malone jersey in the American Memorabilia auction. I think it's a nice item and was thinking of bidding.

It's listed as
Lot 140: Late '70s early '80s Moses Malone Game-Worn, Signed Sixers Jersey

Besides the fact that Malone didn't come to the Sixers until 1983, which I'm guessing might keep it from being a late 70s jersey it looks like it could be the real thing.
I'm no expert though, so I'd like to know what people think

On the old board, there was a discussion about an Erving jersey with the same name lettering on back. I've never been able to find an Erving photo with the block lettering, but there is this shot of Moses from the cover of SI. Of course, this is the home white version, but it looks like the same lettering. The Sixers usually had the vertical arch type lettering around this time. I think that's what it's called...vertical arch.

You'll also notice that that the 2 differs in both photos. I've seen photos of both versions on both Malone's home and road Sixers jerseys. Size 46 would seem about right.

Odd someone wouldn't have looked up the fact that Moses' first season with the Sixers was 82-83.
