Any thought on this helmet?? It appears to have been in Mastro's summer 2006 auction. I searched past threads to see if this helmet has been discussed but don't see anything.

i dont see anything saying game used on the mears ceretificate. what is A5 grade?

On the Mears letter is says "Description of wear - Multiple scuffs"

For recent jerseys at least, A5 usually indicates MEARS feels the garment fits what would the player's game issued garment should look like, but there's no team or other significant provenance tying it to the player or team. In other words, the garment looks good on its own, but its unknown where it originated from.
