I have been checking out this forum for a while. You guys do a great job in sharing information and educating collectors. As a hockey collector I was wondering if there are any other hockey collectors on the site. I collect game worn 500 goal scorer jerseys, pucks, stubs and programs as well as any Denver/Colorado based hockey teams. I also collect Denver Bears baseball items. thanks for sharing all of info. Raifie, welcome to the board!
Here's a question for the hockey collectors...
I guessed that this shirt is from a Junior league. What kind of value does it have? Are there collectors who specialize in Jr. League jerseys?
It is top quality, with obvious game use (stick and puck marks, snags, etc.) and fight strap! Sewn on crest, logos and numerals.
THANKS!

Like Raider said, they are a local team out of Bridgewater. When I was in middle school and HS a few kids I knew played with them and used to wear the jerseys to school. I grew up 10 minutes from Bridgewater.

If anybody is interested in junior league hockey jerseys, lmk via email as I can direct you to a friend who is selling his regrettfully as he lost his job this summer and needs funds. Direct sale to a forum member would help him vs. ebay time and fees.

What is the value, roughly, of Jr. League jerseys?

I went all thru school with this guy, and he is a hockey nut. I personally am all baseball. His email is johnkoehler02@comcast.net , shoot him an email. He has been selling local IHL jerseys, etc for a few months. I know from conversation he told me it was a RARITY for him to hit the $300 level on a jersey, so I'd say they are not bad in the expense category based on that conversation. He'd be able to tell you better...

don't have any game used hockey jerseys, but have many replicas and some jerseys with self made crests.
have some photos of them on webshots: http://sports.webshots.com/album/560877015oJxLKE

if looking for info for hockey game worn jerseys, one site i've run across is:
http://www.gameworn.net (http://www.gameworn.net/) which has lots of info and links.

and http://dropthepucks.com (http://dropthepucks.com/) is somewhat interesting.

Tag Team Champion and Two Time Slammy Award Winning John Morrison?

To add to the conversation, I am conducting an autograph session with Kris Versteeg this Monday (the 12th) in Highland Park, IL.

I conducted a private autograph session with Bobby Hull last month and I plan on working with many members of the team for autograph appearances over the next few months.

Hockey never left Chicago, but it has definitely returned.

Joel,

You should have the blackhawks play at Wirgley all the time...then you will have a true return of hockey. Best of luck on your signings.

It is my real name and didn't know there was a wrestler who went by the same name. Cool!

What is Hockey you speak of? Being from Hawaii, I thought this was only a legend. The visitors to are Island from the great white north speak of a great one, a man they called Gretzky. One man who has scored more then anyone else. Wait that's Wilt Chaimberlin who scored more then any man. LOL

I was there - That game was enough! If they tried it at Comiskey Park, maybe that would work.

Now I have an issue - See the image I use in all my posts of Kris Versteeg scoring in the 2nd period against The Dallas Stars on November 20th, 2008?

I cannot find the original! Can anyone help? I have searched everywhere. I must have found it the day after the game, but now I can't find it anywhere.

Joel, No need to be greedy, let us have home ice for the next one. We can have it at the big house and pack it full. We could set a few records and maybe with that many tickets sold, it would not be such a rip.

Good luck on the photo, I suck at finding stuff online...don't know how or where these guys come up with their stuff.

As for the thread, yes, I collect all four sports witgh hockey coming in second to baseball.

I have never been to The Big House, but if it is anything like Ohio Stadium (and I assume even bigger!) that would be an amazing place for a hockey game. I guess the biggest I have been to is The Fiesta Bowl (when Ohio State upset Miami) and that was amazing.

Now I looked it up. Amazing, OSU holds 101,000, The Big House 107,000 and Sun Devil Stadium only 73,000. That is a lot of people!

You email your idea to Gary Bettman and I'll see you for dinner next New Years Day!
