Good luck with that. All that left are the Sat/Sun pass or the hotel package.

They only sell Friday tickets to those who buy the Weekend Hotel stay. You cannot buy a Friday ticket. If I was going this year I would actually like that. Limited crowds! First crack at the garage sale. I believe they are offering special photo opps.

Correct! Not going this year. With this economy I can't risk it. If you do the weekend package plan on spnding $1000 just on the room and Soxfest. Then add %500 for boose, $1000 for game used, $300 for drinks with the players. Etc, It gets pricy!

Completely understandable. Last year we did the package. This year, we just have the Saturday pass and will have to get up super early to be on the road.

Wine/Drinks/Beer etc at ht e palmer House. Anywere from $6.00 to $11.00 EA. Multiply that times four people. It gets up there. The food at the palmer house is pricey as well.

I guess if it was just one person for the whole weekend it would be less.

Folks I spoke to said the Thome game worn jerseys were $1000. Local Chicago paper today reported all three game used Griffey's offered at $2500 each were sold.

Griffey still a hit
By Mark Gonzales, 5:35 p.m.
Judging from the prices, Ken Griffey Jr.'s popularity remains high despite playing only two months with the White Sox.
The White Sox sell game-worn jerseys as part of an effort to raise money for White Sox Charities. As of Saturday morning, the price tag for one of Griffey's jerseys was $2,500.
Christine O'Reilly, the Sox's senior director of community relations, said that two Griffey jerseys had been sold for the same amount Friday.
A return visit to the jersey rack indicated the third Griffey jersey had been sold.
The prices of the game-worn jerseys ranged from $100 for Orlando Cabrera, Don Cooper and Juan Uribe (in sizes 46 and a recently-sold 50) to $300 (Joe Crede) to $500 (Jermaine Dye) to $750 (Paul Konerko).
