For all of you football fans out there, here's a sampling of the commemorative/memorial patches worn by various NFL teams throughout the 2008 season:



Pictured above, clockwise from top-left:

• Bills – Commemorating the season’s games in Toronto
• Chiefs – In honor of founder Lamar Hunt
• Colts – Celebrating 25 seasons in Indianapolis and the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium
• Rams – In honor of late owner Georgia Frontiere
• Titans – Celebrating 10 seasons in Tennessee
• Jets - Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of their victory in Super Bowl III

What game did the Jets wear that patch in?

Every team wore the GU patch opening weekend. The Raiders wore it the rest of the season. The Redskins wore a Sean Taylor black 21 patch in the Giants home game for his ring of fame game.

The Chargers and Saints wore a patch in the Europe game.

Dallas wore this there last home game against Baltimore..

The Gene Upshaw worn opening game by all teams and all season by the raiders.
