stumbled across this oddity on ebay:

1) henderson played for the padres in 1996, 1997, and 2001.

2) the style of jersey shown in the ebay auction was worn by the padres from 1991-2000.

3) the russell tag is from 2000. the last year of this particular style. this style of russell tag didn't exist in '96 or '97. as well, the jersey bears the MLB logo on the back which first came into use in 2000.

...so the jersey is necessarily from 2000 specifically but henderson didn't play for the padres in 2000. by 2001, when he did begin playing for them, they weren't using this style of jersey anymore....

i contacted monette about a fake jersey i got from them and still haven't heard back. i guess it's time to prosecute. if their piece of crap certs state guaranteed authenticity, then by all means honor it.

The numbers look like the are homeade...the #4 is the wrong font....the left part of the 4 should be vertical not angled in.
