One simple question, who is the best ALL-Around player??? Everyone has their opinion, so everyone should feel free to answer. Thanks

IMHO, overall, Vlad. ManRam is a better hitter but ManRam's fielding and throwing isn't close. Man, I hope the Angels are bluffing about trying to sign him. Vlad and Manny at 3-4 in the lineup would be sick.

Vlad.-13year career
Batting-.303 BA 2,136 Hits 404 Doubles 392 Homeruns 1236 RBI 173
SB
Fielding- 128 assists .963 Fielding Pct.
Manny-17year career
Batting-.314 BA 2392 Hits 507 Doubles 527 Homeruns 1725 RBI 37 SB
Fielding- 102 assists .978 Fielding Pct.

I give the batting nod to Manny. I give the fielding nod to Vlad. Baserunning nod to Vlad with the batting with an edge to Manny, but Vlad is an excellent hitter also. So I think all around I go with Vlad. They are both favorites of mine and I as a fan enjoy watching them both. Both HOF'ers in my book.

Vlads career average is .323
Manny is a quitter, a baby. If he couldnt hit he would have been out of the game years ago. He is definately not a role model for younger kids, the way he plays the game. He doesnt hustle, doesnt play if he doesnt want to. Never runs out ground balls or pop flies. These are some of the reasons why no team would want to give him a deal. Ill be glad when he is gone from the game and forgotten.

When Manny is done he will be the greatest hitter to ever play the game. Right now i will take Vlad because i dont think he has any more quality years left. I think Manny will be hitting in his sleep til he decides to hang it up.

Oops, my bad. .323 is Vlad's career ave. I agree, Manny has his shortcomings, hitting isn't one of them.
