Just a few questions i had about this jersey
Why is the grey flannel letter for a russel jersey when the jersey is made by rawlings?
Isnt this the style worn by the A's minor league system?

Is it perhaps a Typo? In one spot they mention the Rawlings tag, and the other the Russell logo. Based on the photos, I think they mean "Rawlings".

the GFC letter uses both "rawlings" and "russell" so i think it's just a typo.

yes, by modesto at the time. the A's recycled their jerseys through the minor leagues.

the ebay henderson jersey confuses me a little in terms of trying to pin it to a specific year. in the late 80s, i believe they wore majestic BP shirts. by 1990, they had switched to rawlings for their BP shirts. this particular style was worn until 1992. 1993 saw a redesign. the ebay jersey has the rawlings logo applied as a patch, rather than sewn directly into the shirt. this "logo on a patch" occurred during a specific year but my memory fails to remember which year. i believe the rawlings logo patch preceded it being sewn directly into the shirt. the ebay shirt has a 1988/89 style rawlings tag. in 1990, the A's wore a desert storm/US flag patch on their BP shirts. although, i believe this came later in the season. it seems unlikely that a 1991 or 1992 shirt would have a 1988/89-style rawlings tag. so maybe it's a 1990 shirt, worn prior to the application of the US flag patch, with a slightly older '88/89 style rawlings tag. like i said, it's a little confusing. below are some pics. the years shown are from getty. (and i can't understand why canseco and mcgwire have the rawlings logo as a patch in 1992 when henderson apparently has it sewn directly in 1989. i thought the patch preceded it being directly sewn). there's a 1990 willie mcgee that has a 1990/91 style rawlings tag. (and a year/set flag tag which the ebay jersey lacks).

The sad part about this jersey, is that the seller is trying to tell anyone who would contact him, that the jersey is indeed a game used MLB jersey, when in fact the A's NEVER wore those jerseys for anything other than BP or Spring Training games in 1990. He seems convinced that his GF letter is the reason that it is a game used jersey, despite heavy evidence against such belief.

I only hope that he doesn't sell that jersey to anyone other than a card company, because no one should be fleeced like that.

What I find amazing about this seller, is the insults he has been sending my way for questioning this jersey. I've reported him to Ebay Security, and I certainly can see why someone backed out of buying that jersey from this guy.
