A few Mets items I picked up

Those black background cardboard prints were from the Mets 1980 "The Magic is Back" ad campaign. The rectangular prints hung inside the upper part of NYC subway cars, above the seats. Two other Mets were included in those rectangular ads: Lee Mazzilli and Frank Taveras.

They were $7 a piece ..I ordered the Taveras and he sent me the Henderson..I did not know Mazz was part of the set..I want to frame them and hang them up..

Those are great, especially the subway posters. I actually have 2 huge ones from 1986, they are about 4 feet x 6 feet, I've had them both autographed but have not figured out the best way to display them without spending a fortune. I also have a Carter from 1987 I believe. I love this kind of stuff!

Any pictures? And if not, could you describe your ads? Is one of your 86's a "Baseball Like it Oughta Be" Shea Stadium night game shot - Mets greeting each other at home plate?

I have the one you described, signed by everyone. Then I have one of Gooden and Carter congratulating each other after a game, signed by both of them. Both are the ones that say "baseball as it ought to be"

The other Carter one has him catching and says "Kid Stuff"

I had this subway poster mounted by a photo framing store onto a foam board. Then I used double sided taped to mount it on my ceiling.
