    Strangely customized jersey...

    Some "Frankenstein" work has been done on this jersey...



    I'll start by saying that this is a real authentic Rawlings home Rangers jersey and that the signature looks perfect. No issues with authenticity whatsoever.

    I am just baffled as to how the lettering was done. It looks like the correct Rangers font was used for the letters, although they appear to be wrong height (shorter). The correct font for the #1 appears to have been used. The wrong 2 was used; this is the Cubs font, not the Rangers font. The colors are all wrong; Rangers have red letters bordered by blue, not blue letters bordered by red.
    Possibly, Sosa signed a bunch of pre-cut Cubs 2's and then this jersey was put together to match the pre-cut letter? If so, a black drop shadow would have been created to match the Cubs letter but all of the other cutting was to match the Rangers fonts? Strange looking nevertheless...
