My story goes like this. Before my son was born we had to think of a name. My suggestion was Derek(like jeter) Ichiro Fukuda. which my wife quickly shot down. After a long struggle we agreed on a name, Rawlings(like the bat) T. Fukuda. BMH if you read this its just because Rawlings sounds better then Louisville:D. I guess it's not really crazy, but my son will have a story to tell about his name when he get older.

Just call him Rawly! Rawlings is a helluva lot better than ESPN!

I predict your kids gonna be obsessed with anything that says Rawlings, including your bat collection

Not really crazy... but goes along with the name thing. I convinced my old girlfriend to name her cat Bailey. This was after really pulling for Homer, but that name wasn't flying, I settled with Bailey. Now seeing how Homer Bailey hasn't amounted to anything, I'm glad I don't have to see that cat anymore!:D

My pups name by the way is Jay Bruce.... but I haven't had to worry about the kids names yet (hope to keep it that way for a bit )

AWA85,

I sure did!!! If it makes you feel better his middle name is for my father, because myself and wife are very happy with his name.

I like Rawlings. I personally would have picked first name Hillerich and middle name Bradsby.

Now it's only a matter of time when someone on this forum announces the birth of their new son Marucci.

If the next child is a girl, I suggest Hanna Batrite.

Is your cat nasty to people when out in the public like Reggie?

Mark,
I was going to say something like that. But no he is nice to people, his only down fall is when your taking his photo he seems to look the other way or down at the floor just like Jackson.

Actually his first name is Rawlins, not Rawlings....but close enough!

We used to have a black cat that we named Mookie after Mookie Wilson.
