Billy Bates '89-90 Louisville Slugger orders?

I've got two William Derrick "Billy" Bates bats: ('89 Brewers, '90 Reds)

a) "Billy Bates" 1990, block letter gold, cupped, R219, dark brown/natural
b) "Bates" 86-89, block letter black, dark brown/natural, but cracked at Riverfront in 1990.

The '90 will soon be on loan to a museum and I hope to verify its order date. With his short career, how many orders, quantities, models, finishes did he have?

Your are in luck...
He had one order of three R219C's on Feb 7 1990 for the Reds. Bat should be 33in/31oz. His other two orders with the Reds (9 bats) were the same specs but P72's.
