Niche thread--the Pittsburgh Maulers USFL auction

Anyone from Pittsburgh remember the Pittsburgh Maulers equipment auction after they folded? It was held at the Civic Arena if I'm not mistaken and they sold all of the jerseys and helmets. I haven't seen a legit Maulers gamer in a long time, you would think these would surface. Not expecting a lot of replies here but just curious if anyone recalls or has information.

Yes I remember. Occasionally, you will see items from the auction on Pittsburghs Craigslist, e.g., there was a GU jersey earlier this year listed for $2,000. I do not remember the player.

Interestingly (or maybe not :-)), there is a "complete set" of Mauler cheerleader items from 1984 listed right now (outfit, rain cape, pompoms and uniform)
