    Vintage retail and index bats

    I am selling a dozen retail and index bats on consignment. Photos of each bat can be accessed by clicking the player’s name. Please contact me if you have questions. Prices do not include shipping. I ship via USPS Priority Mail.
    Jim Bottomley, LS 1921-31 retail bat, 125 professional grade, not cracked with bold stampings, 35”, minor knob chipping, slight deadwood. $400

    Joe Garagiola, AD 1951-57 retail bat, not cracked, light foil stampings, 32”, knob chip. $50

    Lou Gehrig, LS 1950-60 G69 model index bat, cracked, vintage black tape, one screw visible, some deadwood. With a small investment in professional restoration, this could be a nice bat. $100

    Solly Hemus, Adirondack 1951-57 retail bat, cracked and repaired with nails, bold stampings, 35”, some faded letters written on back. $50

    Mickey Mantle, LS 1970-72 K55 model index/college bat, cracked and repaired with nails, tape residue, 34”, IWU (Illinois Wesleyan University?). $50

    Pepper Martin, LS 1932-33 40 P.M. retail bat, 36”, not cracked, refinished, letter “B” carved into knob and barrel. $150

    Pepper Martin, Marathon #4359 retail/semi-pro bat, 34”, flared knob, not cracked, 1930s-1940s era, nice condition. $75

    Willie Mays, Adirondack 1971-79 retail bat, blue band, contract model, 34”, excellent condition. $50

    Mickey Medwick, LS 1932-33 40 M.M. retail bat, 34”, not cracked, refinished. $150

    Joe “Ducky” Medwick, LS 1938-43 125 D.M.S. retail bat, 35”, foil stamped, handle crack on back repaired with nails. $100

    Stan Musial, Adirondack 1946-50 retail bat, foil stamped, dark patina, 34”, cracked and repaired. $100

    Carl Yastrzemski, LS 1961-63 125S retail bat, 34”, slight deadwood. $35
