Same helmet being auctioned by two sellers

Weird. Two different dealers appear to be selling the same helmet at the same time.

Definitely the same helmet, going by the distinct marks on the upper right side of the helmet.

not only the same helmet, but the same photo of the helmet. ebayer dalcowbill gets his hands on authentic cowboys items but he also sells, or tries to sell, items that he knows are bunk. he's been trying to hit a home run with a bunk "staubach gamer" for last year or two - he currently has the staubach fake listed on ebay as a buy it now / best offer with a price of $9,000. he floated a fake drew pearson "gamer" on ebay for about a year or so - i don't know if anyone ever got stuck with it tho...

Probably a good explanation. Ol' Bill seems to have listed several Cowboy helmets that he just received. Perhaps he bought them from Steiner and is reselling and Steiner forgot to pull the one. Hard to say. Perhaps an email to the seller would answer the question.
Buying game used helmets of Packers - all eras as well as game used helmets of HOFers or future HOFers.

It does seem that he gets a lot of his stuff from Steiners auctions, so maybe he has the confidence that he is going to win that helmet and listed it on Ebay to get a jump start on a sale.
