I just aquired this 2003 Carson Palmer Game Used Benglas jersey through a trade. I had a few very important questions about the jersey and would really appreciate any feedback I can get.

Here it is...

Now here is a picture of Carson Palmer from his Rookie photo-shoot in 2003...

And here are some pics from the 2003 Pre-Season (the only action he saw that here)...

Now there were a few odd things I noticed about the jersey that I wasn't sure if they would impact it being a game-used, game-issued, or pro-cut jersey.

1) The size of the Number 9 on the front of the jersey appears to be slightly smaller then what Carson was wearing in the 2003 Pre-Season but does look closer to what he was wearing the Rookie Photo-Shoot.

2) The "Made in Berlin" tag is located on the right side of the inside of the jersey. I've always seen them located on the left side and wasn't sure if this was unusual.

3) The (03-48) neck tagging does appear to be correct with what size Carson wears but the tag itself looks to be a bit slimmer then others I've seen. Also, every Bengals jersey I have seen from 2003 on has had the additional letter tag following the year and size tag. This jersey does not have that letter-tag.

4) Later Palmer jerseys I have seen have been hemmed and do not have a jock-tag or extended length. All of Palmer's NCAA jerseys are longer like this one so is it possible he carried that preference into the pros? I'm not sure if this is common in 2003 examples.

Finally this jersey does not show any signs of game-use. That would make sense as he only played during the Pre-Season so any jerseys he worse on the sideline that year would not show any signs of use.

My goal here is to determine whether this jersey was game-worn (which I know might prove to be impossible to determine without a photo-match), game-issued, pro-cut, or a jersey he might have worn during the rookie photo-shoot.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated as I am not an expert in Bengals game-worn items.
