The rumors are true......
Nike is no longer taking a back seat, and this "test" with the Portland Beavers (AAA PADRES) is their entry to MLB. The current Majestic contract is over at the end of this 2009 season. Should be interesting to see how much $$$ it will cost Majestic to extend their agreement, or how much $$ Nike is willing to throw at MLB in order to secure the agreement.
