dang, do they have big contracts coming up, or i wonder if theres some big name free agents out there that they want.

Joey called me and told me about this. Bucs are ready to try and sign some BIG names for this season. They want to have those big dollars to put out there. Its a mistake as they wont have the juice to get the guys they want, but they always seem to learn the hard way.

Laveranues Coles was dropped by the Jets today too. I'd sign him. I hate the Jets but if the Dolphins get him, instant upgrade especially since he and Pennington are close.

This has to suck for Bucs fans. It was a sad day when the Fish lost Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor. Same kind of thing, especially since they will go into the Hall with their respective original teams. I always wondered if franchise guys like this every feel slighted or resign themselves that it is just business.

I'd be mad as hell personally but what do I know? The extent of my playing experience is Little League. And I sucked then. :D
