bump ...anyone there?
Mine stop around 1980 depending on the player. Any further back requires help from other people within the company who probably wouldn't appreciate me asking about bat records on company time.
Digging through microfiche isn't the highlight of their day.

Hi Justin-- unfortunately, I am unable to find any information in my records of that period that would shed any light on either Dutch or Sad Sam.... also I was unable to find any examplars on Art Jaffe's great site, Left Field Collectibles, pertaining to any Jones or Leonard of the period. For future reference for forum members who may be unaware of the site as a resource for both vintage and modern bats, here's a link to the vintage bat search page http://www.leftfieldcollectibles.com/vintagebats.htm
Good Luck on this project Justin

Mike, i actually got a Jones and Leonard ( spelled incorrectly LENARD) from Art's inventory!!
The Jones has pencil markings that appear "Jones -am-el" ...and the "LEONARD" appears to match up well with the time period and lack of other Leonards in the time period...
THanks for your time
