    Marino Rivera gloves

On the Steiner site for Mariano Rivera merchandise on the first page they have a game used glove from the 2008 All Star game listed for $8,000 On page 3 they have several game used gloves from the 2007 season listed for $20,000 each. I'm a little surprised as it seems to me that if someone is going to spend that kind of money they would want the All Star game glove rather than a glove used during an ordinary season at a much higher price. Am I missing something here?

The only thing I could imagine would be.
Is that the All Star glove was most likely just used for that one game

The regular glove was a glove he used all season

Which is why they would list the season glove higher then a one time used glove

    Note*
2007 Season Rivera passed Franco for 2nd place on the all time closer list.
2007 Holds the record for the lowest era in post season games

Be careful buying one this year. Jose Veras was using a Rivera model in ST.
